Making a Purchase
As a new customer you may browse our website at your leisure but will need to become an online customer to place an order to purchase goods. In order to make a contract with Needlecraft you must be 18 years of age or over and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. This is because we sell blades and scissors on our website. By accepting our terms and conditions when you purchase these items you are confirming you are of the legal age to buy these products.
When you have made an account, providing information such as a username and password, it is your responsibility to keep these details safe. You will also agree to notify us should any of this information change that is important to carrying out an order; you are responsible for updating this information.
Make a purchase by adding any item that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished selecting the items you wish to buy you can checkout and we will ask you for a few more details pertaining to the fulfilment of your order.
We accept Visa and Mastercard, are PCI compliant and use Global Payments gateway to process our payments which is a secure site. At Needlecraft we fulfil your order on a pre-authorisation system which means we do not charge you for any item until we have confirmed it is in stock and ready to ship to you.
A contract exists between Needlecraft and the consumer when we have instructed you that the goods are available and these goods have been paid for in full. We have included this term to ensure you get the best possible service and will not be disappointed and have to be refunded if an item is not in stock. Furthermore it protects us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we can no longer supply a particular product. In the case of a change of price we will always contact you first to ensure you are happy with this change; however changes of price will be a rarity.
We will confirm the acceptance of your order by email if you have provided us with a valid email address. We reserve the right at all time to refuse to accept any orders.
We only deliver throughout the UK and therefore payments can only be made in UK pounds sterling. The prices include VAT at 20%. Delivery costs will be charged in addition.
You have the right to cancel this order, by email (with the confirmation of your order attached) to email@example.com informing us of the order number, and items you ordered. If the items have already been dispatched, please follow the returns procedure.
A flat fee for postage and packaging applies to all orders that are below £50.00. Postage and packing are free when you spend £50.00 or more on delivery in the UK. Our standard method of shipping is by Royal Mail or by courier.
You can also select the Click and Collection service option from the menu at checkout and shipping will not be charged.
We endeavour to dispatch orders within 24 hours after the order has been placed. You will receive an email when your order is shipped or available for collection (through the Click and Collect service).
If you fail to collect an item (if you have selected the Click and Collect method) within 14 days of being notified that the items are available for collection, your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded the price of your order. You will however be charged an administration fee of £3.00. Please notify Needlecraft before the 14 days are about to expire by email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and item references if you wish to extend the Click and Collection service by another 14 days, this however, can only be extended once.
As cut fabrics are considered a bespoke item (cut to the length you require in 10cm increments) these items cannot be returned once they have been sold to you. Therefore you are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind on these goods on whatever grounds.
For the remaining products on our website please follow these guidelines for returns;

To return an item you must inform us by email to email@example.com with the order number and the items you wish to return.
We will then reimburse to you the costs you purchased your item at, as long as the return complies within the 14 day cancellation period. The cost of return delivery will be at your expense, please obtain a proof of postage receipt in case your return of the goods are lost, without this we cannot be held responsible for not receiving the goods and you will therefore not be entitled to a refund.

All items will be inspected on return and should be returned in a re-saleable condition in the original packaging unopened. If they do not meet these standards we retain the right to withhold any refund to you.

Please note: All fabric is checked for faults before despatch.
All information provided on the products follow the manufactures guidelines. We have done our best to ensure all images reflect product quality and colour as accurately as possible. Due to monitor display, dye lots and resolution, however, we cannot guarantee that the colour of the product will match exactly as the one you will receive. They will, in this regard, not form part of the contract or warranty pertaining to differences on receipt of products.
Do not try to colour match any item on the website, please contact the shop by phone to seek advice before purchase.
You may order samples of fabric from the shop directly on 01442 245383.
Limitation of Liability
Needlecraft cannot be liable for any loss of profit, contract, revenue, savings or any special, indirect or consequential damages arising out of or in connection to these terms and conditions. We have no liability for negligence for the acts of providers of telecommunications services for faults or failures in their networks or equipment.
We do recommend that fabric is pre-washed on a warm, gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Please read the descriptions on the products carefully, however, to see how to wash individual fabrics. If the product description does not contain washing instructions please call the shop to confirm. If the fabric is brightly coloured or very dark then it is most important. Please take care when ordering as fabrics can shrink and take account of this when measuring for projects. Fabrics with any wool content should be washed as per manufacturer’s instructions.
Wool Ordering/Washing Made up Garment
When ordering wool, make sure you allow enough yardage to make the garment. Check ball bands for dye lots (which should be the same) and washing instructions.
